Founder of BERIKIDS

Welcome to the Website of BERIKIDS !

Berikids is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). It is a non-profit making, apolitical, charity and developmental group which operates within the national territory of Cameroon, and has its head office in Njavnyuy - Kumbo, Bui Division in the North West Region.

Berikids NGO was founded in 2004 and legally registered on the 24th of October 2005 with registration number: E26/PS/118/01. We took the decision to become one of the actors working for the social welfare of our community especially the Underprivileged, the Orphans and Vulnerable Children of both sexes.

Over the years, we have positively impacted many lives in our community; but we are still hugely challenged by the thousands of lives that need to be touched positively.

We are currently developing a handful of critical interventions on account of the dehumanizing armed conflict in the North West and South West of Cameroon. We invite you to get involved !

Acquisition of the Berikids Centre:

In 2003, we acquired the BERIKIDS Centre (5 apartment structure. We renovated the building structure and also extended this Centre by additionally constructing 4 rooms. Most of our Activities were undertaken in this Centre until now that we recently constructed the present Rehabilitation Centre, as seen on its Page..

Installation of Grinding Mills:

We have been able to plant 2 Grinding Mills in some of our Rural areas. The Grinding Mills serve and help the peasant localities and they are also a source of little funds for the BERIKIDS Centre.

Creation of Berikids Website:

With the assistance of Martine (Switzerland), we were able to develop our Website - www.berikids.org and to this, we are greatly indebted. By the grace of God, the Website has again been redesigned, and this is what you are presently reading and browsing through.
